Lesson 2 · Web Explorer
Headings, paragraphs, lists and links.
HTML gives you six heading levels, <h1> down to <h6>.
They aren't just sizes. They describe importance and structure, like chapter titles and subheadings in a book:
<h1> — the page's main title. Use one per page.<h2> — major sections<h3> — subsections within thoseDon't pick a heading because you like its size — that's CSS's job. Pick it because of what it means. Screen readers for blind users navigate entirely by these levels, so getting them right genuinely matters to real people.
