From a free chapter to a finished project
Six steps, in order, with who has to do what at each one. Most of them are your child's. Two are yours, and neither takes long.
Read a chapter, free, before anything else
AnyoneThe first 2 chapters of every level are open to read in full — no account, no card, no trial that expires. It is the same material as the paid chapters, not a sample reel, so you can judge the teaching before you are asked for anything.
Create an account so the work is saved
ParentSigning up takes a name and an email — nothing else at this stage. You confirm the email address, and from then on anything your child builds in the free chapters is saved to the account rather than lost when the tab closes.
Say who is who, and add your child
ParentYou identify yourself as the parent or guardian and create your child's account, which links the two. That link is what gives you visibility of their progress, and it is why the adult buys rather than the child.
Buy the course; access opens immediately
ParentOne payment for the course, with the required consents asked as separate ticks so you are agreeing to specific things rather than one bundled sentence. Access opens as soon as the payment is confirmed — there is no waiting for a start date, because there is no start date.
Learn a little, build a lot, get feedback
StudentA short lesson, then the building — a game, a page, a program. Written answers get scored automatically so feedback is immediate rather than waiting on a queue, and a mentor can review and override any score.
Finish with something they designed themselves
StudentEvery chapter ends in something finished. The course ends in a capstone project your child chooses and ships on their own, which is the piece worth showing people — and it stays theirs.
What happens when the access period ends
The projects stay theirs
Everything your child built is their work. The end of an access period does not take it away from them.
The material closes
Course lessons stop being readable when the term ends. You will know the term before you buy — it is stated on the course.
Renewing adds time
If you renew, the new term is added to whatever is left rather than replacing it, so renewing early never costs you days.
Step one costs nothing
Open a chapter and read it. That is the whole of the first step, and it tells you more than any description of it can.
