Lesson 1 · Young Builder / Capstone
Observation and empathy.
Five months ago you couldn't build anything. Now you can build games, websites, and Python programs — which means the hard question has changed.
It's no longer "how do I build this?" It's "what is worth building?"
Most first projects fail not because the code was bad, but because they solved a problem nobody had. So this month starts where real products start: find someone with a genuine problem.
Real problems rarely announce themselves. They show up as small, repeated irritations people have stopped noticing:
When somebody says "it's fine, I'm just used to it" — pay attention. That sentence is where problems hide.
