Lesson 1 · Young Builder / Capstone
The path through your product.
A user flow is the path somebody takes through your product to get one thing done — step by step, from the moment they open it to the moment they're finished.
It sounds obvious and it isn't. Writing it out is how you discover the steps you'd forgotten: where do they start? what do they see first? what if they get it wrong?
This is the Human Computer exercise again, pointed at your own product. Every gap you leave is somewhere a real user will get stuck.
Flow: adding a homework task
Eight steps for one simple action. Step 8 is the one beginners forget — and without it, the program adds one task and exits, which feels broken even though nothing crashed.
