Prepare your demo

The instinct is to open with "I built a homework tracker." Don't.

Open with the problem: "Six people in our class turn up unprepared every week because they forget what's due."

Now everyone listening understands why your project should exist before they see a single screen. A solution only makes sense once people feel the problem — which is exactly why this month started where it did.

You used a four-part structure for your website in Month 3. This is that, with one addition:

1. The problem — who, what, how often (30 seconds)
2. The solution — one sentence on what you built
3. The demo — show it working, live (2 minutes)
4. The hard part — one real problem and how you solved it
5. What's next — what you'd build with another month

Part 4 is still where the substance is. Every demo looks smooth; the bug story is the evidence you built it.
